Our Atfalati-Kalapuya Mobile Museum presentation gives audiences an in-depth look into the lives of the Native Americans who lived in the Tualatin Valley. Audiences enjoy a hands-on learning experience through handling authentic artifacts and replicated items. The Atfalati-Kalapuya is one of seven Touching History Mobile Museum presentations we offer to community groups and in the classroom.
The Washington County Museum provides several educational opportunities for the community. Our education programs are created to interpret and pass on the history of Washington County. Group tours, school and community presentations, Crossroads Lecture series, exhibits and special events are activities we use to pass on the knowledge of our local past.
For more information about how to take advantage of these great programs please call us at the Museum at 503-645-5353, ext. 133 or email us.
