Preservation of our shared traditions, memories and culture is the heartbeat of what the Washington County Museum does every day. At the Museum, a dedicated and talented staff care for and protect an ever-growing collection of objects, photos and other artifacts that tell the story of how our community came to be and who we are today.
We have ambitious goals for 2012. With our community partners, we will expand the county’s new digitial photo archive, present three new public exhibitions, re-introduce our classroom-based Mobile Museum program with updated materials and new topics and continue to introduce engaging new educational and community outreach activities.
