Manuscript Collection

The Washington County Museum Library and Archives Manuscript Collection of the Robert L. Benson Research Library offers extensive aids for research and finding aids such as the MSS.001 Albert Tozier Collection (PDF), MSS.002 Veterans of WWI, Hillsboro Barracks #933 (PDF), MSS.003 Daughters of the American Revolution (David Hill Chapter) Records (PDF), MSS.004 Washington County Agricultural Society Records (PDF), and MSS.005 United Spanish War Veterans Records (PDF). We are currently working on creating finding aids for the collection and will add them when more are available.

Library Fees & Charges

Copies: General public: $0.25 for each copy
WCM Members and Students: First 100 copies are free ($10 surcharge for orders over 100 pages). Photocopying of primary manuscript materials, photographs, fragile or oversize books, and maps may be restricted.

Fees for Personal, Government, and Non-Profit Use of WCM Photos: WCM Members: $5 per scan of photographs or manuscript item
Non-Members: $10 per scan of photographs or manuscript items
$5 for a DVD (you may bring your own DVD or USB drive)

Fee for Commercial Publication of WCM Photos: $25 per image for print or public display. Please talk to staff for pricing for other commercial uses.
