Latest Camp News
The Washington County Museum offers camps during school breaks. Camps run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at our Hillsboro Civic Center location and typically cost $50 per day (when a daily option is available) or $225 for the week. Members receive a 10% discount. We welcome Middle School and High School camp volunteers! Check our informational section on what you need to know about participating in or volunteering with a Washington County Museum camp.
Summer Break Camps 2015
Washington County Museum offers three exciting camps for summer 2015!
- Native American Camp
Learn about local Native American tribes, specifically the Kalapuya and Chinook. Build shelters, play traditional games and make crafts to take home.
Dates: July 13- 17, 2015
Times: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Ages: 8- 11 - Splash Camp for Middle School Girls
Follow the National Science Foundation’s Waterbotics lesson plans to build a Lego robot and compete in underwater challenges. Girls only!
Dates: July 27- July 31, 2015
Times: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Ages: 6th- 8th grade - Innovation Camp
Washington County is home to great innovators, from the Kalapuya Indians to the high-tech leaders in the Silicon Forest. Each day campers will complete engineering challenges while learning about innovation throughout Oregon history.
Dates: August 17- August 21, 2015
Times: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Ages: 8-11

Registration
To register, please call the Education Department at (503) 645-5353 to check availability and make payment. If space is available, please fill out a Camp Registration Form (PDF) and contact us for further instructions.
