Planned Giving

There are different ways in which you can support the Washington County Museum through planned giving, such as –

Charitable Bequests:  The act of giving personal property / chattel (jewelery, art, antiques, etc.) or money (including cash, stocks, bonds, etc.) to the Museum through the provisions of a Will or estate plan, including Trusts.  Gifts of real estate is correctly called a “devise.”

Gifts of Life Insurance:  The act of naming the Museum as a beneficiary (wholely or in part) in a life insurance policy.

Charitable Annuities:  The act of transferring cash or or stock to the Museum in exchange for a partial tax deduction and a lifetime stream of annual income.
