Free Family Morning – End-of-School Party: Build Your Own Book!

What: Writing Workshop for All Ages!
When: Saturday, June 10, from 10am to 1pm (Join a 1-Hour Writing Workshop at 10:30am or 11:45am)
Why: Because your story is important!
Where: Washington County Museum, 120 E Main St. Hillsboro, OR 97123

Is there a story hiding inside you? Come on down to the Washington County Museum and learn how to pull that idea out, give it a shine, and put it on display for the world to see! Your story can be anything from a favorite childhood memory to pirate adventure to a cupcake mystery to your grandfather’s favorite tale. Bring it with you and Tonya, Raymond, Damien, and Heléna Macalino of The Macalino Authors will show you how to lay it out into the form of a story and make it into a book that you can share with friends and family! In addition to the workshop and for those just dropping in, there will be hands-on activities such as birdhouse painting, making animation flip-books, and playing with cool prism blocks!

Thank you for including the Washington County Museum on your weekend itinerary. This will be the last Free Family Morning of the school year. We hope to see you.
