Group Visits

We offer three different types of group visits (8+ people). The first is pre-registered groups who self-tour the Museum, the second is pre-registered groups with a guided tour of the Museum and finally, pre-registered school groups.

Pre-Registered Groups (Self Guided) 8+ People
$4 for Adults
$2 for Youth, Seniors (63+) and Active Military.
Advanced reservations are required 7 days in advance. 

Pre-Registered Groups (Guided Tour) 8+ People
$5 for Adults
$3 for Youth, Seniors (63+) and Active Military.
Advanced reservations are required 7 days in advance. 

School Groups
$2 per Student
$2 per Chaperone over 5 Chaperones
Teachers are free.

Self Guided Tour Information

Your group is welcome to self-tour the museum with advance notice (7 days). Groups are welcome Wednesday through Saturday. Click here for Museum hours.

The benefit of pre-registering your group is $2 off admission prices. The discount is only applied to groups who pre-register (see form below to register) and make a single payment for the entire group.

The Museum has limited gallery capacity. Our staff reserves the right to limit access when demand becomes too high for reasonable safety or visitor comfort. We highly recommend scheduling all group visits in advance.

Admission is payable by cash, check, or credit card and is due on arrival. We request a single payment be made for the entire group. Reservation cancellations should be made at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled visit.

Guided Tour Information

The Washington County Museum is happy to offer guided group tours as well.  All tours last approximately 20-30 min. A minimum group size of 8 visitors is required for a guided tour. Groups are welcome Wednesday through Saturday. Click here for Museum hours.

Reservations can be made by filling out our Group Registration Form (see below). We will contact you within 2-3 days of receiving your information.

School Groups

  1. Cost $2 per student. Teachers are free.
  2. A maximum of two classes of students is allowed per group (slightly larger groups can be arranged upon request).
  3. One chaperone is needed per 8 students. Chaperones must remain with students at all times and actively supervise the visit.
  4. Programs last 60-90 minutes and have a variety of hands-on activity options.
  5. Field Trips are offered Monday- Friday 9am-4pm.
  6. Please register your tour at least two weeks in advance.
  7. Scholarships are available for admission and bus transportation. Click here to fill out a scholarship application.
  8. Bus drop off will take place in front of Starbucks on First Street.
